I received a call on my cell phone today, from “unknown ID”. After saying “Hello”, I was greeted with an automated message telling me I’ve been selected as the winner of a 4 day vacation to Orlando, with optional trips to 4 other places for $99. Included in the package is $75 spending money. What the hell am I going to do with $75 spending money in Orlando? That doesn’t cover the cost of adult admission to Disney.
Regardless, it left me with the option of pressing 9 to speak to a representative, or pressing 8 to be removed from the calling list. I pressed 8, in the hopes it would work. There’s hell to pay if it doesn’t.
If anyone reads this, and has gotten similar calls on their Bell Mobility (or other provider I guess) cell phone, please contact me and we’ll see if we can put a stop to it.
